Left after the first night Positive: Really close to all amenities Negative: Got bombarded with flies plus the codes were confusing !!

Positive: Location is excellent, right on the esplanade. The owners communication was good. Negative: *credit to the owner, we were reimbursed for one night when we cut our trip short. We didn't have a great stay. When comparing reviews online, make sure that you notice the difference between 'Eden Escape', and 'Eden Escape appartments' which is only a stones throw away on the same street. The apartments get amazing online reviews. This place actually isn't even called Eden Escape. There is a different name above the door. Its very misleading. We found the suite descriptions also misleading - we didn't have the facilities in the suite (room) that we needed or were expecting. We booked a one bedroom apartment. We got an ensuite bedroom with a hob and fridge in the corner of the room. We had no dining / working / seating areas that we expected (advertised on booking.com) The sea views turned out to be untrue, we overlooked a carpark on the opposite side of the building. We had to use an upturned bin as a bed side table to eat on. Cleanliness was a really major issue. Very unclean. Mounds of dog hair on the carpet. Hairs in the bed. Hadn't been cleaned since there was trades work carried out in the bathroom. The walls and fittings are covered with dirty hand prints, food splashes and the likes. We only stayed the one night (booked two) The owner was responsive and refunded us for the second night. Hopefully will put some provisions in place to ensure cleanliness and expectations are met for future guests.
